2013 Pima County Fair!

Last night we all got to go to the Pima County Fair! It was extra special this year because Emma got to perform with her singing group, Center Stage Singers...

Here's Em right before it started, we couldn't get her to smile big because she was so nervous.

Here are all the girls up on stage getting final instructions before the show started.

The show lasted for about 45 minutes and the girls sang lots of songs but this is the one where Emma had her little solo. She did a great job even though she was so scared, way to go Emma!
*The microphone of the girls next to her wasn't working, but they fixed it right after they realized what was going on.

After the show we took a picture with Dad. Now you can see her big smile!

Tyler got to come with us for part of the fair, then his Mom came and took he and Aaron to go on all the big rides while Hannah, Clara, Daddy and I watched Em perform. After the performance we ALL got to go on the rides!

Here are Aaron and Tyler in the giant bubbles, I wanted to do this one too, but Clara was being a stinker darn it.

Emma, Tyler and Aaron sitting with the giant scorpion in the Insect Exhibit.

This year they had a great big castle in the kiddie section that was full of  "princess" stuff. You can't see the horn but this was a unicorn. As you can see, Clara didn't like it.

She liked dressing up in the fairy wings though!

Queen Hannah!

Petting Zoo! Both Hannah and Clara LOVED the petting zoo.

Cheese :)

All the animals in the petting zoo were small, Clara was in hog heaven, heehee.

Poor Clara had a huge tantrum when we finally left the zoo. Of course she has tantrums all the time now seeing as she's almost two, but still, you could tell she really wanted to stay.

Emma Cow, Tyler Pig...

Aaron Goat and Hannah Goat.

Had to take a picture of this because it was so darn cute. This was in the live stock barn. All the kids were just mesmerized watching the little piglets.

Aaron and Tyler thought they were pretty cool to have climbed all the way to the top of the bleachers.

Chickens!

Aaron kept puffing out his chest and making gorilla noises at the chickens, and no, I do not know why.

Ride time!

Here is tantrum number two, Clara wanted to go on the rides with Emma and Hannah, she was extremely miffed that she had to stay in the stroller. It was just too crowed by the rides for her to walk though. Once she settled down and was nice we got her some kettle corn so she got a treat too.

After going on this little dragon roller coaster I asked Hannah if she'd had fun. She rolled her eyes at me and said, "No! It was scary!".

This is my favorite fair picture this year. "At dawn, we ride!" Lol

Daddy and Emma going up in the Ferris Wheel.

Chili Fries! We got some on the way out, you can't go to the fair without getting something disgusting and greasy.

Finally home. We got home around 10pm, Clara was out like a light. Jared had wanted to stay and take the big kids on more rides but the lines were long and the little ones were fading so he's gonna take Aaron and Emma back tonight. Clara was so tired that once we were home we took her out of her car seat, changed her clothes and changed her diaper without waking her up. But she had fun!

See you all next year!
