It's Been A Long Time...

I haven't posted anything since February! I can't believe so much time has gone by. One more month of summer and then it's on to a new school year for Aaron, Emma and this year even Hannah. Here are some of the cute things our little ones have said/done lately...

Hannah lost her first tooth recently. We told her to put it under her pillow so the Tooth Fairy could come and take it away and leave her money in its place. Hannah thought about this for a bit and then said, "I'm not sure I believe in the tooth fairy." I asked her, "Well then who do you think takes all the teeth?" Hannah thought about this and then said, "I don't know, Santa?"

Aaron and I got into an argument the other day. After I had calmed down I went into his room to talk with him and he handed me a note. It said, "I'm sorry I acted so angry. I now realize what I put you through..."
It was so cute! Very happy I have such a thoughtful son.

Since it's summer time the big kids have been coming with me to the gym, they stay in the kids club and are babysat while I do gym stuff. When I picked them up the other day Emma immediately began reciting to me the entire conversation of the two girls that had been watching all the kids. Apparently they thought that Sean (some guy that works at the gym) was super hot and he had a motorcycle, and they wish he'd ask them out on a date, and everything about him is so cute, etc. Emma had pretended to play next to them so she could ease drop! She thought it was hilarious they were talking about boys.  I thought it was pretty funny too, but the next time we went I let the babysitters know they might want to watch what they were saying in front of the kids!

Our home teachers came over last Sunday and Clara decided she was going to be shy. We all sat down in the living room and she went and hid behind the large fake dogwood tree in the corner. We went on with the lesson until we started hearing singing coming from behind the tree. "Let it go, let it go! Can't hold it back anymore..." She was singing the Frozen song! I guess she figured if we couldn't see her we couldn't hear her either. It was so funny!
