Run!

As you may know Emma has been participating in "Girls On The Run", which is a group of girls, grades 3-5, who get together after school on Mondays and Wednesdays and do fun activities while training to run a 5k. Em has LOVED it. She's made new friends and has lots of fun.

Monday was her 5k run! All the kids and I went down to the school to cheer for her. We took Sally, the dog, and Emma got to run with her puppy for part of the race. We are all so proud of our Emma for working so hard!

After the race we gave Emma some special treats. Here she is with her surprises and a big smile. She was very proud of herself, and we were too!
