Emma

I was in the middle of sending an email when I realized I was hearing the stove click, which happens when it is trying to light. I jumped up and ran to the kitchen where I discovered Emma standing over the flaming stove on which she'd placed a plastic bowl full of ramen noodles. I quickly turned the fire off and said, "Emma! What are you doing?!". Emma looked at me innocently and said, "I just want to make some ramen". Luckily the bowl hadn't melted completely, just gotten a bit soft. And we had a very long conversation on why it is only Mom and Dad who are allowed to use the stove!
