Doctor visits and Shots :(

Earlier last week Miss Emma broke her arm. She was out on the playground at school running around when she tripped and fell, right onto her arm. It broke a small bone in her wrist, so her cast is only 1/2 arm instead of full arm. It's hot pink. On the way home from getting the cast put on her Daddy stopped at the store and got her her very own set of permanent markers, so that she could have everyone sign it. Everyone in our family signed it, and then she took the markers to school so that school friends could sign too. Apparently Hannah thought that all that signing stuff was pretty cool. She snuck into Emma's backpack after school and stole the bright red permanent marker, which she used to color all over each of her arms. Now she and her sister match!

We went to the doctor today, Clara and Hannah were both due for shots. On the way there I told Hannah that if she was brave and held really still for the nurse that she would get to pick out a treat at the store when her Daddy got home. I was so proud of her, she just sat there and held still and didn't utter a sound, other than a huge sigh when the nurse said we were all done. Poor Clara didn't know what was going on. When the Dr. came in I had her laying on the table and I was smiling and talking to her. He leaned over to smile at her, so I moved out of the way. She quit smiling instantly, stared at him for a minute, and then started hollering (which went on until we actually left the Dr.'s office).
